The Motherwell District Childminding Group (MDCG) was setup in 1980 to help local childminders meet and share.

It was formed by a group of Childminders to represent and support Childminding throughout Lanarkshire. We represent Childminders at meetings and committees to ensure a fair deal for Childminders. We are helping to shape the future of Childminding by lobbying both the SCMA and Early Years on a variety of issues.

We support families by providing resources and information to make their childcare choice easier. We support local Childminders to promote themselves locally to families looking for childcare in their area. See our news and events sections for our achievements and upcoming events.
